Long ago- before my career as a graphics designer- I did a brief stint as a bear tamer.
Before that, I was a watch maker.
Before that- as you can see in this photograph- I was the captain of a whaling vessel at the turn of the twentieth century.
And yes, that beard is real. ‘Twas my Novembeard.
Now ‘tis my Decembeard.
My Illustrator teacher wants me to start making some tessellations.
On my way to creating those, I came up with this.
It’s sort of an in-between step from what was before to what lies ahead.
Since you’ll probably grow tired of seeing more of these types of pictures, and since you can go over to Andy Gilmore’s blog and see many more excellent examples of this sort of thing, I will stop posting these.
Unless I come across something so utterly amazing that I just have to share it with you.
Until then, thank you for joining us for another episode of Technological Spirographs.
Yet again, inspired by the ever-interesting Andy Gilmore, but created by the hand of Kevin Ohlin.
I’ve turned my computer into a $2,000 spirograph.
